  • A Shallow Talk on How to Configure Android Simulator

    Open Android SDK and AVD Manager
    Virtual Device> new..
    Type in any name in Name column select Android2.2-API Level 8 in the Targetcolumn
    In the Size column, type in the capacity of SD card, generally it is 256, select default for the other items.

    Then click on Create AVD

    Create success! Select Start, now let’s have a look at the true colors of Android system.

    Before starting the simulator, a window will pop up as the following picture, here there is no need to select, just click on
    Launch button to enter in the simulator.
    Then you will see that Android system is now starting…. It will take a longer time for the first start, please wait patiently.
