Recently，in a city of Jiangshu province ,the traditional static electronic bus stop was replaced by intelligent bus stop system. New modules such as LED traffic information display zone, LCD multi-media display zone and monitor area were added to the route display zone of the old stop board. The LED traffic information display zone was mainly for showing traffic information like how the vehicle runs; as for LCD multi-media display zone, it will show the passers of bus stop ads or public service ads in forms of videos, animated pictures and so on；and by installing detector equipments in monitor area, we can monitor the personnel flow status. At present, pilot project for the new system has been put into online use.
This system adopts the terminal machine of our multi-media information release system, and publishes all kinds of information about the bus stop in forms of LED and LCD.
System structure: From top to bottom, it is consist of name of the bus stop, monitor area, 42 inch LCD display zone, LED display zone and the routes’ names. LCD area makes use of integrated player, to act as the core parts of the system, together with the LED area. Both the LCD area and the LED area transmit signals and release information through 3G wireless network..
