The Multimedia Information System of Commercial Transport Network

Overview

The multimedia information system of Railway Station / Airport is based on the train station or airport within the Ethernet platform, through the system, users can easily build a centralized, professional, intelligent, and personalized enterprise-class network television,to provide powerful professional media services about information editor, transmission, distribution and management and so on.. The station multimedia information release system is aim at the info diffusion requirements of the station operations management, with a forward-looking, expanding and advanced, practical ideas for the design way,to transfer the video , audio signals (such as live television),train real-time information and delayed information to display terminal through the internet platform with high-definition digital broadcast signals, can effectively cover ticketing offices, waiting areas, such as the office of flow-intensive places. For news, announcements, weather forecasts and information service, live programming, such as instant information can be released immediately , transmit the the most timely information to the audience at the primary time to achieve respective management, targeted to release information.

 System composition:

The system consists of streaming media file servers, systems management software and a terminal player. Management software, which can be installed in a separate document server or a PC, responsible for the manage server ,player terminals and  download, play, control etc. Considering the stability and security, we propose that the server should run on the Linux systems,  also can run on the windows platform.The control is base on the network entirely,the management isn’t limited by region,the download is distributed processing,can play the main streaming media

System Configuration:

file server 1:
File server is the centre of the system, responsible for document transmission, communication protocols and databases and so on between  the management and the play ternimal,so need to configure the high PC, generally P4, 3G, 1G EMS memory.
Multimedia player terminal 14;
Professional multimedia players IP set-top boxes, responsible for document storage and playback.
Management  1;
Can be managed any PC in the network , according to the needs of management  can be configured to ordinary PC.
File server software 1:
For the software which is installed in the file server, the operating system can be Linux or Windows 2000/XP.
Management software:
It’s an executable program, without having to install can be run directly, and can be installed with server on the same machine.
Streaming media server 1:
Professional embedded hard-coded streaming media server,support a single four-way live video.
